A local establishment, Iron Hill Brewery, makes a brie & canadian bacon pizza. I figured it would be good on the egg and it was.

hmmm I think I have found a use for the 1.5 lbs of bacon weekend warrior gave us in NH

Thanks Beli - The brie really likes the smoke.

I had some of WW's bacon at Waldorf, good stuff!

I wouldn't say sweet but pretty mild and creamy. Brie really works well on the egg, sucks up the smoke.
  • Brie-zza ... well well ... guess what just got added to my recipe book!!! Nicely done.

Did you use any wood for additional smoke?
  • WoodbutcherWoodbutcher Posts: 1,004
No I didn't but the bacon was already smoked and I didn't want to overdo it.
  • Very nice, Dale. Thanks for a great idea.

Hi Faith - Which wine would go well with brie? I was thinking a nice Merlot.
