My son bought one of the eggs from Fred after the community meal, so I had to give him lessons today. We started out with chicken caesar pizza. He made the dough, the dressing, and the pizza :)

  • Wife and I looked at your post and had a throwback moment to Godfather's Taco pizza with fresh lettuce, onion, etc on top and agreed we HAD to try your rendtion. Did you use Ceasar dressing for the "sauce"?
  • Yep, and provolone cheese on top before the romaine. I make my own caesar... you can find the recipe HERE , together with step by step pictures.

That looks really good! I'm gonna have to try that! How well did your son do with the training?
  • He did really well. He's tended to the egg in the past when I wasn't around, and knows how to start a fire. This is his first attempt at actually cooking something :)

I picked up your recipe somewhere along the way and and have been making it for a couple of years and it is excellent! I have ended up substituting lemon juice for the vinegar, but both are good.

That was a great set of pictures of the process.
