<p />Had DD chicken breasts again tonight. Cooked at 400 after letting the breasts sit for 1 hour at room temp with the rub and extra virgin olive oil.
Used my small chunk of cherry wood as smoke flavor. Cooked and added a beer, BBQ sauce, honey mixture for basting the last 10 minutes.
Fantastic. This is a keeper.
Has anybody ever noticed a different taste in the time a rub was put on compared to cooking time?
10 minutes compared to 1 hour?[p]CWM

    Car Wash Mike,
Yes, regarding the rub time. I always get my chicken
for fajitas rubbed and oiled the night before. Once, in a
pinch, I only prepared them about 45 minutes before egging
and there was no comparison. The overnighters are way
better for my taste. However, I like heavy seasoning.[p]Chuck
