enhanced meats

it's getting more & more difficult to find unenhanced meats. I see it in all chicken, Turkey and some pork butts. This weekend i made for father's day baby back ribs and normally they take 4 to 4 1/2hours at 250F. This time they were done in 3 hour - they must have been enhanced (i bought them at Kroger store)
the moral of the story is that nothing is sacred anymore
