Purchased my BGE on new years eve and cooked first steak tonight. 1" sirlon, preheated to 600 deg, seared 1 minute on each side, idled BGE and held for 2 minutes. PERFECT. Don't think I will ever regret buying. So far have cooked Pork Roast, Beef Roast and Whole Chicken and all were great. Look forward to reading this forum.

Welcome Kitchen Man, You have only scratched the surface. Please don't hesitate to yell if you have any questions at all. Lots of great folks here who are at the ready at most times of the day, and a mind-boggling wealth of information. Very few questions are left unanswered, and many are answered from several great cooks. You are in for quite a ride.[p]Yeeeeee ha! Wit 'til you cook yourself a tender brisket.
