Get a pizza screen

Frogmats. 'Nuf said.

I use CI, pizza screens, wood planks, even the cheapie screen jobs from Publix work alright. Haven't tried Frogmat or like product. My preference is CI most of the time. Going directly to the grid oil the grid and fish and skin on helps. Not to mention being patient for the sear to release the fish from the grid. There will always be miniscule protein loss going directly on the grid.LBGE 2013 & MM 2014Die Hard HUSKER & BRONCO FANFlying Low & Slow in "Da Burg" FL

My business partner's wife uses them. She cooks about 100 meals a week for families to freeze so they get used and trashed.
They always have a funny smell to me."Brought to you by bourbon, bacon, and a series of questionable life decisions."

I got some grill mats for Xmas, used them once and haven't since. I am getting a pizza screen instead.
I does what it says, it's heat resistant and stuff does cook. But I didn't like how tight the mesh was, kinda like cooking on reusable, flexible aluminum foil. First thing I bought for egg that I don't think worked.

Just Vote- What if you could choose "none of the above" on an election ballot? Millions of Americans do just that, in effect, by not voting. The result in 2016: "Nobody" won more counties, more states, and more electoral votes than either candidate for president. -

I'll keep using my veggie basket or foil.Michiana, South of the border. -
I've been using one of these for years for fish and veggies. Works beautifully and the handle detaches so you can put it on the grid, close the cover, and reattach the handle when you're ready to remove it.
