Turkey and Chuckies

This morning around 8 I got some chuckies seasoned up with Cow Lick.

And on the XL

Around 1 I added a turkey that I parted up and cured

The turkey wasn't really for anything specific, just had it and needed to cook it.

I'll slice the breast meat for lunch meat and freeze. Not sure what I'll do with the dark, but my little guy wanted a leg when it was done this afternoon.

He couldn't finish it...

Back to the chuckies. Around 4 they were pull tender

Pulled and mixed with Stubb's sauce and some of the juice from the pan.

Back in the egg until time to eat.

Turned out pretty good.

Have some friends over, really glad I thought ahead to take the day off tomorrow...

It was a basic brine with curing salt. I pulled it from Charcuterie, I just left out the spices and aromatics. I'll post the recipe I used tomorrow.

Lookin' good @DMW.  Your boy put in a good effort on the drumstick.

Would like to explore some Disney Drumsticks.  May have to pick some up on sale, and try it.  Cow Lick and chuck is a favorite, nice post.
