I have two cooks under my belt. The first was a small pork butt that I marinaded to make Cuban pork and later Cuban sandwiches. it turned out fantastic. I served the Cuban sandwich with some fried sweet and green plantains.

My second cook was a boneless prime rib last night. It was the best prime rib I've ever had.

Im not sure...I think most KJ retailers can get them. You can always order online. Shipping is very reasonable.UKMatt said:Is there any way to find local retailers that carry this? Google doesn't offer much help...

What kind of warranty does that awesome looking item have? Anybody try one on a BGE yet? Those are beautiful cooks.

Nice tostones. For the platanos maduros, slice on the bias and frying in butter. BOOYAH.

I know that some of the videos say it can be used on the BGE, but I have a question. When the KJ dome is open, how much clearance do you have at the hinge? Looks like you have a few inches in the picture. When my egg dome is open, it only has about 1/4 of an inch or so. We upgraded to the spring assist hinge a while back.

Not sure how clear this pic is, but I'm wondering if we have enough clearance to use the Joetisserie. From everything I have seen, the base just sits on top of the grill bottom.

what are some other ideas for cooks using this rotisserie?
-
Great looking cooks. I may have the rotisserie from my old gas grill around. I bet I could use on the BGE with a little rigging.

Where can I buy this online? Do they fit the XL BGE and how much did it cost you?- Jamaican living in rural Western Washington

I'll take a look at my classic and see this evening. The joetisserie tapers in the back so I don't see you having any issues..but I'll check.Dredger said:I know that some of the videos say it can be used on the BGE, but I have a question. Planning on a chicken next. I also bought two baskets--one a tumbling basket and one that is square that will trap the food and not allow it to move.SunDeviledEgg said:what are some other ideas for cooks using this rotisserie?
I'm planning on throwing some wings in the tumbler. I'm also going to make some jerk leg quarters and rotisserie them in the square basket.
I've also been asked to spin a leg of lamb...that cook will be coming soon too.Augusta, GA

There's a link a few posts up to where you can buy it. It fits the large 18 in only. There is one in development for the big joe with no current release date. I'm not familiar with the big joe or xl bge...so not sure if it'll fit both.annjamaican said:Where can I buy this online? Do they fit the XL BGE and how much did it cost you?Augusta, GA

@chrisc133 does the Joetisserie base fit inside the KJ or does it just mount on top of the gasket? Videos I have watched from 2015 show it on top of the gasket, but the newer videos for this year look like it is inside the KJ. Sorry for so many questions. Thanks.

It just sits on top of the gasket--no mounting. It's actually very quick to set up. Set the base on. Slide the motor in and plug in and go.Dredger said:@chrisc133 does the Joetisserie base fit inside the KJ or does it just mount on top of the gasket? As long as it's the large BGE you're good to go. Took a few pics of it in store when they had it on display on the BGE.SkinnyV said:This looks pretty cool just need confirmation it's good to go on the egg.

@chrisc133 thank you so much for this post. We love rotisseried food and just ordered one from Mr. McCully at Fireside in Augusta. Will post pics of this in operation on the large BGE. BTW, warranty is one year.
