New Woo for the newer MiniMax's.....anyone recieve /use yet?

In other words.....how is the beta test going? Looking for some feedback before pulling the trigger.  Guess I am a laggered of sorts on the ol woo.....but an early adopter on the MM (completly oblivious of course).

So if my firebox cracked my old woo wouldn't work anymore?

Correct, but your RTIC will still keep ice from phase changing.

That would be my assumption unless they supported both......which I would doubt would be in their best interest. Here is a pic if this helps.

Okay, need to be schooled.   How do I determine if I have a new/old style MMax and Woo combo?

MMax is 6 mos old.   Woo combo is 6 mos old as well.

My MMax looks similar to what you have pictured.  What's the diff btwn the old/new?

    Man o man...I have questions!

I don't have the two so I can't really explain the difference. I would suggest you go to the Ceramic grill store website and navigate to> BGE> MM. They now list a woo 075 and a 150. You can see the two options and they explain the measurment differences. Sorry.....watching the game and can't link it from current device. Roll Tide!

Let me see if I can help.  BGE pushed the fire ring out closer to the inner egg wall, guess to match the upper inside diameter on the firebox.  We're told the fire ring's ID went from approximately 11.25" to just under 12".

Also, BGE increased the distance (drop) from the felt line to the top of the fire ring.  the drop went from approximately 0.75" to 1.5", guess to get longer legs on the platesetter.

Folks report to us they like the height of the minimax woo, so we added 0.75" to the minimax woo to conform to the new dimensions.  We widened the woo legs to conform to the wider diameter firebox.  We are waiting on feedback from a couple folks on how they like the woo's new fit and function.

The only BGE part critical to using the original minimax woo is the original fire ring.  If you change fireboxes, it should still fit, just lower.
