SRF Kurobuta Spares

So awhile back SRF had a sales on pork and I picked up some spares. Tiny little things, 2.25#, but they look pretty.

Head Country rub and on the XL with cherry wood for smoke

After about 5 hours or so they were done

Verdict? What little meat was there was really good. Head Country on ribs is a winner. For the money, I probably won't order these again. The difference between these and standard ribs isn't that significant.
I have a pork collar and loin roast from SRF in the freezer I'm really looking forward to.

I thought the same. Purchased them on sale and was like, wow! Not enough to feed my boys. Grabbed a baby back rack as well. Very good but really no difference in taste to what I can get locally. Nothing like the brisket. That is way worth it to me! Thanks for sharing. I'll checkout that rub.Joe - I'm a reformed gasser-holic aka 4Runner Columbia, SC Wonderful BGE Resource Site: http://www.nakedwhiz.com/ceramicfaq.htm and http://www.nibblemethis.com/ and http://playingwithfireandsmoke.blogspot.com/2006/02/recipes.html

Thanks. I have four racks in the freezer to do for New Years Day, maybe I'll pick up a couple sets of baby backs at the supermarket to augment them.
