Water to table: lots of catching, with just a little keeping

It has been a while since I posted a water to table post, so here's one. While the dinner was simple, it was delicious. The adventure of getting it is also often fun, so I will share that with you as well.
This weekend we used the smaller boat. We were greeted by by a sunrise at the ocean:
Caught tons of seabass. Here is a small keeper that had to go back because the season closed on Friday:
What we call a sea robin for those of you who do not or can not get to salt water. We will often keep one and cut it into strips for bait because flounder often love it:
We saw a few 3-5 foot sharks. One shark took a small flounder right by the boat. Pretty neat. All in all, 62 flounder, and only 3 were keepers. That is okay, anything that tugs back is fun to me.
Then we we raced a very localized downpour to the inlet, and won by about 100 yards. We only got hit by about 20 drops.
We know what happens after rain on a sunny day:
Now why we are here:
Dinner was was some corn, salad, flounder with butter, pepper, and lemon, paired with a Chenin blanc.

Yep, it is a great sport! Got to keep him catching. It does it matter what it is, as long as it tugs back, right?--------------------------------------------------

Great post, from beginning to end! I was out on my bicycle the other day. I lost to the thunder and lightning by about 100 yards!
I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!
