Now The Coop Smells Like Smoked Cheese

Taking advantage of the Egg already being set up for smoking, we decided to do some cheese so it would be ready for Salado.

Stacked 'em on the Egg...

One hour and 45 minutes later...

Now all are neatly wrapped with labels in place, and vacuum sealed in FoodSaver bags.
Won't know for a few weeks if all of this will produce a good payoff.
As for the curious among you, I used the soldering iron/tin-can method with three small pieces of used lump in the bottom of the can and stacked high with some maple chips and a few assorted chips from the bottom of my smoking wood box.
I unplugged the soldering iron after 15 minutes and the smoke kept coming until just before I took the cheese off. It may have gone out or ran out. I'll know later after I have my 'job well done' reward. Yes, in a glass...
