KCBS membership paid for in first trip savings, Restaurant Depot is the bomb diggity.

Just got home from RD, wow, never had the opportunity before now to shop wholesale for food. The prices and selections were incredible, it is Home Depot for food! I got a Superior Angus Choice prime rib for 9.39 lb. Select brisket for 3.75 lb, (well marbled) not halal, I won't be buying halal for numerous reasons I won't go into. Got my favorite soft drinks, San Pellegrino, in all the flavors, cheeses, juices, some other misc. Only blew a few hundred dollars, I will try harder next time!! Seafood was incredible, they had sacks of oysters, salmon fillets, shrimp of every type, you name it.
Everyone is right, bring a winter coat, the meat section is a giant walk where I spent most of my time perusing and studying cuts of meat.
The process was simple, I walked in, went to counter, got day pass, shopped, got in line, line was 5 minutes until I got helped, was out the door stat!
Great experience, I suggest and recommend a KCBS membership to all.

  • Glad you have a good trip.  Cen-Tex likes our here in Austin, but I have never found the cuts of meat that we like.  Maybe saturday afternoon is not the prime shopping time.
