    Mickey, I was struggling on the iOS devices with run ons as well. I wound up setting up a keyboard short cut so that when I type it, it inserts a hard return and an extra line.

    you can do this in settings>keyboard>add new short cut. In the phrase box type br inside <> for return and you can do as many returns as you'd like. In short cut type what you would like to type for a return. I use the first 3 letters of return.
