Banana Bread

Wife makes a mean banana bread so this am with fired up the LBGE indirect at 350. One with chocolate chips and one plain. She did the baking as all I did was start and stabilize the egg and then left for the store to get stuff for a twist on the @SGH‌ stuffed meatloaf...... Stay tuned

Checking its temp with a Thermapen makes it taste better? Im sure your wife makes a great banana bread, so does mine. Old school. No Thermapen! Art, not science.

@Gogogordy‌ Checked with a thermapen for the fun of it to see what temp it registers at when done. She still checks for doneness with the clean tooth pick, it's better because cooked on the egg and chocolate chops were added

I've recently started adding chocolate chips to my scratch pancakes.  Hmm...in banana bread?  I'm so game!

@cazzy, thanks, always remembered chocolate chip pancakes at Perkins as a kid. Like you I have added them to my kids cakes dusted with powdered sugar. Myself I'm not a pancake fan so I'll stick to oatmeal and coffee
