Cornish Game Hens and Butternut Squash

So....tonight's cook (and then after tomorrow, I swear I stop. Either we have to eat all these left overs or I have to unload them on BF and his son!).
Organic butternut squash. I am not a fan (which is probably why it's been sitting on my counter for so long), but I like to expose the boys to all kinds of tastes, not just my own. Split length-wise, cleaned out, drizzled with a lemon-infused olive oil and sprinkled with a liberal helping of DP Pineapple Head. (I'm hoping it will be like pumpkin pie and the kids will like it, at least????)
Spatchcocked cornish game hens seasoned with @Mickey 's coffee rub. The boys DEVOURED a chicken at my mom's house the other night...hoping they will get a kick out of having one of their own. Heck, it's summer! Let them be cavemen....I am ALL about making childhood memories!
Mama's experiment...running through a taster of J. W. Scotch that I've received. Last night was the Black. Tonight is the Gold. Will keep you posted with all the results.

Yes! :-bd excellent cook! Funny that you say ya have to stop. We have no room in the refrigerator or our big deep freezer. So now we give it to my Mom to put in hers and now here's is also full. These are good problems to have especially these days. We will be good for more come this weekend as a lot of it is fresh produce we use on a bi-daily basis.
Again excellent cook!LBGE 2013 & MM 2014Die Hard HUSKER & BRONCO FANFlying Low & Slow in "Da Burg" FL
