Tonight's Cook

WOW !!!  54 degrees outside. This is the first time since I got my egg that I've been able to stay outside while it gets up to temp and stabilize. 

Also the first time to use my raised grill that I made.

I have a 4# flat and a 4# point on the bottom and a PTL on the top. Stabilized at 324 dome and now I'm helping SWMBO fix  our supper tonight.

Planning on brisket for a midnight snack !!!!

Very nice! Looks like some very fine metal work over there on the far side. Wonder what it looks like up close?

Ok, need details on your swing rack. Have been using bolts/nuts with a Weber grid for raised, but that looks great.

@DMW Yep, I used the same until I saw this one on the net and made my own.

here are some pics.....ask any questions.  Mine is for an XL. 

I hope it will allow me to upload the pics.....been having a rough time for a couple days.

Thanks @THE DRU  Yeah, ice was covering everything this morning, now we have had a ton more within the last couple hours. 

I appreciate your help the other day. 

Maybe we can meet up somewhere at an eggfest or something when it warms up.

First night of a triple header. Steak tonight-so far only an empty plate, Cornish hens and acorn squash a la' BGE cookbook Thursday and then chicken breasts probably Sunday or Monday.
Glad you are warm, the sunny south may have reached fifties today with drizzle and fog. Spring is coming Spring is coming Spring is coming. If I say it enough it will happen.
