Seared tuna

Quickest and easiest cook yet... Seared tuna. Recently picked up some individually wrapped and frozen sushi grade tuna steaks. Defrosted this afternoon and marinated quickly in soy sauce and a little sesame oil. Sprinkled with black pepper. Fired up the egg to about 600 degrees. 90 seconds a side and yummmm !

  • I'm going to echo @r270ba here, since I know you live nearby.  Could definitely use a good tuna source.

@r270ba and @saturdayfatterday - tuna is from Costco. Believe it or not... 3 lbs for $20! I think I'm gonna stock up! Check it out.

Well, "spa-Peggy" is kind of like spaghetti. I'm not sure what Peggy does different, if anything. But it's the one dish she's kind of made her own.

That looks awesome and it is a sweet deal from Costco.

Which came first the chicken or the egg?  I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

There is a restaurant that runs a special now and then with a seared tuna steak over a salad.  and i have been trying to duplicate it but just can't get it rare enough like your's!!  That is perfect.
