I have searched a bit on here but I am not sure if I got a good deal or not. I've only used BGE lump so far. I was in Walmart tonight and got a couple 8.8# bags for $6 each. I will post some pics shortly and let you know the quality once I open and dump em into my bins. It seems like most folks want to know if it has any rocks or ? Material in it.

  • $6 even? They are normally $6.49 or something.
Be careful, man! I've got a beverage here.
  • Red 4 Kg (8.8#) bag in my "local" Bellingham wally world was $6.43 (before tax) I think. Wally world does not usually end prices with a "9" - maybe they are superstitious.......

  • Yes I believe it was $6.23 per bag. Seems pretty cheap.
  • I paid $5.69 for 8.8# RO in the green & gold bag at Menards today.
    Flint, Michigan
  • Their quality control is hit or miss. I bought some RO at walmart. The first bag had a horrible odor and made the food taste funny. Was going to return the second bag but when I was loading it into the car, noticed that bad didn't smell the same way. Used it and it was fine.

Its basically better than some and not as good as others. Middle of the road and not bad for the price (as long as you dont get a bad bag). From what I hear, its about the same as BGE lump since its made by RO.
