12.sumthin plus 2x 17.sumthin. :S 34+12 is 46 plus a little.Bout 50 pounds,just roughly.

I use my 2" firering with my large to get lower in the egg on larger cooks. I have not gone 3 levels, but if there is room, I would go for it. You are going to end up with a lot of juice coming off that meat. I hope the drip pan is large enough!
FYI, with that butt on top, don't expect great bark on the lower butts or on the brisket. It may be much softer or lighter in color than you expect. -
Yeah,I know.I am going for a different approach on this cook.Certainly not traditional.No mustard,not lookin for crispy bark.I did put a pizza stone under the drip pan.I'll keep a ckeck on the pan and empty if needed.Thanks for the tip.

Just a Maverick et 73 remote thermometer.No alarms set,My dome thermo broke.No Guru's,Stokers,blowers,computers. Nothin.No gasket either.Guess gadgets are in the mind of the user/beholder. :P
