Holy hot tub

Had a prime rib roast to cook and ran low on lump on Canada Day :pinch:
Plan 2, was cut a couple of steaks and hot tub.Using what lump was left from our last cook, the Egg didn't let me down

  • Probably a silly question, what does "Hot Tubbing" do to the meat?

    The idea behind hot rubbing is to partially cook (or at least warm up) the inside of the meat, so that it will be cooked after searing the outsides, and not raw in the middle.
