Hello to all,
I searched the forum and I have a couple of ideas, but I was wondering if anyone had a favorite recipe they would like to share? The "Rack of Pork" is a new cook for me and would like all the help I can get!
Thanks in advance!
Rich

Are you talking about a Crown Pork Roast? The one with the Frilly things on the end of the bones that is served in a circle with stuffing in the middle?

Does it look like this?
I have one I'll be cooking tomorrow raised direct at 350 and pull at 135-140 internal temp

Yes, it does look like yours. What is your method? It looks great! Hoss it is a Kirkland Rack of Pork (Bone in, about 8 of them). Any ideas?

Do it like Poolman says.DO NOT OVERCOOK IT!

Thanks LaPoolMan!
Do you use any anything on it? Rubs etc?

I sometimes do the 'po mans crown roast, and some stovetop stuffing. Heheheee.
Seriously, a bone-in loin roast is really easy to cook, and they don't take that long. I used a wet slather of crushed garlic and some herbs on this one. I started off using a raised grate and did a crisp up with the grate in the regular position. This one was brined and pulled off the pit about 145°.

Thank you Thirdeye!
It looks great! I will give the slather of crushed garlic and herbs a try. Thanks again,

Well, they are actually good with just salt and pepper, so there are a lot of ways you can go...
No matter what seasoning or cooking method you use, I really think brining helps a lot.Happy Trails~thirdeye~Barbecue is not rocket surgery
