We hope you all got to celebrate those tasty food holidays last week, we sure enjoyed them! We are even more excited about the beginning of fall, for so many reasons, but mainly for experiencing the cool, crisp air while being outside cooking up the best recipes the season has to offer. Roasting Veggies

Awhile back I decided to try oven-roasting beets instead of boiling them. The difference was amazing - every bit as delicious, but sweeter as well as easier to handle.[p]I decided tonight to try Egging two beets and a rutabaga. I wrapped each in its own foil packet and roasted them for an hour and a quarter at 400 degrees. Wow! Great taste and I didn't heat up the whole kitchen for 3 little veggies.[p]Ken
