I don’t RV, but the import thing is to keep the firebox and fire ring from moving around inside the egg. I suggest simply cutting or buying some small hardwood shims and wedging them between the fire…1 · -

p.s. I have taken a MM for 4+ hour rides in the back of my truck for tailgating. I had no problem and I’m not sure I even wedged the firebox each time.1 ·
