from google he uses zdp-189 damascus, its hard at 64-67, his less expensive knives are vg-5 around 60 rockwell (also hard). that zdp 189 will be hard to sharpen if you let it go, best to fine tune it…1 · -

looks like 300 layers. i have a c/s blade (different manufacturer) with 70 that sharpens nice but gets even sharper when you use it. it needs to form tiny micro chips on the edge with use. with 300 i…1 · -

had one of those, never used it til i put a blue stone patio down by the lake. moss and buttermilk blended and thinned out with rain water poured between the stones grows nicely ;)1 ·
