Yes- just make sure you have an air gap between the drip pan and plate setter. Some tin foil balls do the trick for me. Yes dome of 250-275.2 · -

Give the reverse sear method a try- it should fix this issue. Using the high heat for that time is really putting too much heat on the outside while waiting for inside too cook.3 ·
