I never wrap ribs and do them with just some dry rub. Go about 250* dome and you be able to enjoy 4-5 hours with the kids and doing yard chores(??). I also pull the membrane off the back of the ribs …7 · -

6 hours is getting pretty close to the limit but can be doable. It all depends on how well insulated your cooler is. Did you pre-warm the cooler and towels? Did you happen to leave your temp probe in…1 · -

Could be your monitor wires. As long as you're able to maintain proper temp it really won't matter in terms of your cook.1 ·
