I have never wrapped nor never seen the need. Typically 4 hours and good to go. Your mileage may vary. Would be interested to hear results if you wrap one and leave the other al fresco.1 · -

I’m really happy with my BGE stone. It handles the high heat without issue. I went thru 2 less expensive ones (they basically shattered due to high heat) prior to obtaining the BGE stone.3 · -

Go with whatever you can find on Craigslist and the like. I have a combination of Thule and Yak for about .30 on the dollar.2 ·
