Not for this cook. When I do a hot smoke I use fruit wood. The difference is this was done at about 350 and a hot smoke is held below 200. Oh, and the salmon is prepped much more for a hot smoke.1 · -

Carne Asada Tacos
Charred tri tip, cilantro, salsa verde and lime. Daughter had sharp cedar, I skipped it. Simple as can be.1 · -
Spicy Beef Ribs
Used Stubs spicy which ended up a bit hotter than expected. Pinto beans with onions, jalapeno and salsa verde, and corn on the cob for sides.7 ·
