It'd be easier and more secure for the cigars to buy a travel humidor, they're pretty inexpensive and should keep them properly humidified as well as keep them from tumbling around! Mark3 · -

Cigar Caddy is the one, couldn't remember the name. As for how long, should be good for a couple of weeks as they mostly use gel beads that can be replenished. If the humidity starts to drop off…1 · -
