    There are also diode lasers I forgot to mention - to my knowledge they are low power and gantry type - slow and not very powerful.

    Agreed - I picked up the KC12 and a bottle of Midwinter Night's Dram at the same time I bought this one. Of course I didn't tell SWMBO what I spent on those 3 bottles.
