I've never used the basket. I have done sliders several times. I go 350-400 raised direct till the IT hits about 150.1 · -

I suggest doing a dry run first just to get used to how the egg reacts with different temp setting. By dry I mean no food. I do however suggest having many adult beverages during said dry run.2 ·
