Next time, go turbo at 350. I have a friend with a Traeger who insists on going at 250 for something like 17 hours - that's great but it is no better than 5-6 hours on the egg at 350. I do about 10 p…1 · -

Trying to sear such a thick steak at high temp would result in a very rare cook. That is true on a gas grill or an egg. Reverse sear is the way to go.2 ·
