We are just watching the ceremony here in Ottawa. It is a bit of a poignant day for me as it is the first Remembrance Day without my Dad, a WW2 vet who passed away earlier this year. I was able to be with Dad last year for Remembrance Day -- I accompanied him to a High School assembly and also took him to the local ceremony. It was a very special day for me.

We watched the ceremonies on TV. So sad to see the older veterans still moved to tears. I lost my Dad three years ago. He was a Korean war Veteran.
