Back home to a beautiful new handle!

We had a great vacation and ate some incredible food. But I sure did miss my Egg!
Came home to find my beautiful new handle in the mail. Made by Mikeb6109's dad. Pictures don't do it justice. He does an amazing job. I sent pics of cactus in bloom and this is what I received.
Inaugurated it with a little tri tip. They sell great big ones at the local grocery, so I cut them down for the 2 of us. Did a modified Morro Bay Rich method with some corn & salad on the side.
Can't decide if I missed my Egg or my kitty more! It is great to getaway but always so wonderful to come home.

How much do they cost. Mine is about ready to fall to pieces. LOL. I'd love to get something like that done. I was thinking of fashioning something myself as well. Who knows.

Thanks Molly! We got home Sunday, took a couple of days to recoup. The cruise was fantastic but I think I may have enjoyed our time in New Orlean's more. The weather was ideal and I think we ate our weight in seafood, especially oysters! Hope all is well with you.
