Nice pics, Susan! Thanks for sharing. It looks really weird though. Every pic I've seen shows all those empty stands! Where are the cheering crowds??

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

  • Susan, thanks for posting this. I hope it's OK if I put some of mine here.

Another pic of Susan and Theresa dishing it up. My niece called them the "tent people" cause they let us hang out in their tent.

We helped out in the Tshirt tent for 5 minutes and took this picture to prove it.

Hungryman was crazy busy making Tshirts all day, so we stopped by several times just to bug him.

For those still wondering about the venue - this is the infield where the parking was, and if you look in the distance at the tops of the tents, that's where the fest was. It was easy and closeby parking.

Hungryman comes very prepared to the afterparty - blender in hand! Yes, we had a designated driver.

We finaly coaxed him out of his Tshirt coma, or maybe it was the rum!

I'm out of the coma. And won't be in one next year. I'm out of the vendor business.

Believe it or not we worked our tail off. I was making the shirts as the people ordered them. I didn't want to guess which design, sizes or how many to make. A recipe for disaster. I don't think anyone had to wait much. With the cost of everything I broke even and worked my a** off. Way not worth it. I'll stick to the web site and make what my fellow Eggers ask. Everyone liked the stick figures and asked about doing it for cars. I got that finished and put it on the website this am. Next year I will come eat and relax. I had 3 stuffed mushrooms and 4 wings. When I finally walked out of my cell to get a drink, there was no more.

I've got another dealer in town that would be a perfect fit for a shirt display. The owners are big eggheads and chefs, that display proudly all the BGE garb available. I think I'll wear the 'Stumble' shirt and get a laugh of them first. It's "The Kitchen Window" in S. Minneapolis, that is a fantastic store with EVERYTHING cooking related.

Anything for my good man Al. ;)

  • Susan, sorry we missed you at the Saturday afterparty. I guess you were a few campers over at the DP camp. You took some great pictures at the fest, especially for cooking great food all day.
