Dried Morels, Tri-Tip & Irish Nachos

First time using these dried morels for the sauce.

after about 2 hrs with 7 pieces. Nuked the water for 30 seconds first.
not expanding too fast :(
Tri-Tip cut up . . . 1 for wife no pink, and 2 for me! :P

I used what I could find . . .
tator tots, chili dog chili, cheese and some of the massive amount of "donated" Anaheims

Always a treat to get Tri-Tip in these parts!

They are open from 8am till 10 pm. More mushrooms than you can shake several sticks at

This is the 3rd time I made with Morels.
First 2 where with fresh and this was with dried.
Although still dang good, just a slight edge to using fresh. Might use more than the recipe calls for next time. Maybe a shot of Brandy for the cook too! :woohoo:aka marysvilleksegghead

I grew up hunting those in the midwest.Love them just by themselves sauted in butter.
