Thanks Rebecca, it's child's play compared to your warm-up Thanksgiving feast! Can't wait to see your real Thanksgiving cook next month.

Gary, Great looking bird you got there. Seems like overnight we went from summer to Thanksgiving Christmas time. Have a merry one.

yum!!!!! almost makes me with i had dual citizenship so i could celebrate twice!!. .. that looks outstanding!!
and man, i love making turkey pot pie with the leftovers...!! -
Damn...I wish I'd thought of the pot pie idea. Looks great!

jasper, turkey pot pie is fantastic for t-day leftovers. .. .i just buy the pre-made crusts . ..take some of my leftover mad-max gravy and mix in a little cream (or half and half), chop up turkey and stuffing, maybe add some peas and/or some shrooms, fill up the pie crust, pour the gravy/cream mixture over it, put the top crust on, and bake it at 350 degrees for about an hour or until the crust is nice and brown (in the egg or in the oven) ....its really really good....
if you have a lot of leftover mashed taters, you can also skip the top crust, and lay a layer of mashed taters on top instead. ... -
I thanked Max twice because pot pie is his idea too, almost as famous as the gobbler.
