We had a new roof put on the house today so I put the feed bag on for them. I butchered 5 chicks spatchcock but, then I cut them in half. They come out great and everybody liked. :P Thanks for looking

I used both eggs and cooked them direct 400. I pulled them at 200 in the legs.

Hard to beat fresh chicken from the egg! I bet the roofers appreciate your kindness. They work up a powerful appetite slingin shingles.
Nice work. -
Looks like Donnie ate that little skinny guys share! I don't think I could afford to feed him

Dave those guys were a riot. :woohoo: They have the skinny guy that threaten to beat to death if he don't do something...the were funny...and they got the job done lickety split. Roof on dude! Tim

Thenks Kent I did enjoy cooking for them. They worked hard and knocked it out. They were so funny one guy the old man of the bunch told everyone what to do from a chair most of the time and he wasn't the boss! When we were eating I said to everyone look his mouth was shut because he was eating like a piggy. We all cut up and aggravated him. Of course it was all in fun.

Thanks Jim your right I did enjoy feeding them. It feels good inside. For a short while I felt like one of the crew.

Tim ya did good, in fact ya did real good. I have been an electrician for over 30 years and the few times that people have taken the time to provide me with a meal while on the job have been the best jobs to work on. That my friend, is why you felt good about what you did for the men on your job.

well done Tim!! they seem pretty motivated... -
Thanks Beli, It was a nice cool morning and the chicks were willing!

You are 100% correct. It is great when someone goes out of their way to provide a good meal for the crew even though they are paying to have the job done. Those are the lunches that we remember.
