Hey Guys!
I saw this recipe from allrecipes.com so i thought i'd giver' a shot. This is pretty much a pork roulade 'cept with flank steak and a red wine marinade... I liked it, wifey wasn't as impressed.

Pound flank steak flat. Well, flatter than what it was, about 1/2" or less...

Let marinade for 24 hrs. Topped with onions, garlic, bread crumbs, feta cheese, spinash

Roller' up good'n tight!

Seared, rested, then continue to roast for few mins. this is the finished product.

I thought it was pretty good.... Wifey wasn't as pleased. Maybe it's because she doesn't like red wine. Perhaps i should stop making foods that are marinated in it. :huh:

Looks tasty to me Jimmy!! I love red wine though.Maybe try it with chimichurri and some different stuffings for her.

Looks great to me. But then, I can't taste the feta by looking at it.
Can't stand the stuff... maybe that's what your wife didn't like.
Other than your cheese choice, looks delicious! I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

Thanks Michael. I think your write, another selection of cheese may be inorder. We like to use Gruyer in our pork roulades. Perhapes i should have stuck with that, but i wanted to at least try the original recipe once. maybe next time!

my butcher cuts them into steaks, looks like the same ingredients. had no idea how to cook them and came up with this, they are really good. i also do the roast like yours and simmer it in sauce all day with meatballs and sausages. if you sear them like steaks you get more tasty carmalization flavor
