Made some pulled pork nachos for the football games last night, they all loved them. I thougth they where pretty good too but thought there might be a better way to heat the pork rather than in the microwave. I didnt have time to exp.. I just put chips on a plate, covered with heated pulled pork, put cheese sauce, black beans, salse, jalapenos, sour cream, and what else. They where good but how do you all do the meat, do you just use the pulled pork or do you put it in moisture mixer??

  • I usually reheat in the oven with some homemade thin vinegar based sauce on it. That's when I am serving it on sammies. If you are putting alot of stuff on top for the nachos, I'm not sure anyone could taste the difference between microwaved or oven heated.
Happily egging on my original large BGE since 1996... now the owner of 5 eggs. Call me crazy, everyone else does!

your right they didnt notice but i did. but i am sure like you said with all the other stuff, it will be fine!
  • I reheated pulled pork last weekend. All we had was a large gasser. Double panned it with some water in between. Poured in 1/2 can of Coke in before heating. Worked out great!

  • I have some pulled pork in my freezer and am going to a potluck this weekend. Maybe I'll take nachos! So what kind of beans, what kind of cheese? Do you add stuff like tomatoes after it's all reheated and melty? Anyone have photos?
