I'm about to place an order for some rubs (some Dizzy rubs, Chef Paul's, and Texas BBQ Rub). How long do these rubs last? I can save quite a bit by buying in bulk (1 or 2 pounds), but it wouldn't do me any good if it will go to waste. My guess is 1 year (yes, I know most of the products have expiration dates, but in my experience spices typically last longer than that), but I was wondering if any of you experts can tell me the facts on it.
