Picked up a last minute freelance photo gig today.
It turned crazy and I had a Tweeve flash on the way home.
Picked up an over due bottle of Hendrick's. I was only able to find the yellow bottle tonic but at least it was glass bottle.
Just killed my first drink. Very nice.
Thanks for Tip.

Share the tonic tip? I'm always looking for a better tonic, but I'm more a vodka guy than a gin guy.

Rod,
Do you ever use Agnostura bitters?

I may be reiterating somebody else's recommendation, since I haven't had time to research the thread regarding tonic, But, if you can find either "Q" or Fevertree tonic, they make all the difference in the world. Both are pretty pricey, but well worth it. I know Fevertree is available at Whole Foods.

Nope. Just a splash of tonic and top shelf vodka over ice. Usually Belvedere, but I've been seen drinking Goose, Ketel, and Rain (which is surprisingly good).
Vodka is my summer hooch, once it gets cool I switch to the brown liquors.
I may try gin again in a couple weeks if I have the occasion to do so. I've had it in the past but it has always made me either tired or mean. -
You should try the bitters. Just a drop or two. Lots of quinine in it but it really adds to the drink. You are probably too young to remember the purple microdot but the same after effect.

Have you tried this vodka yet? http://titosvodka.com/titos.html
My buddy in Miami had it recently and said it's awesome. -
I highly recommend 42 Below. It is an outstanding Vodka. It is distilled 5 times. This is the greatest signature EVAR!

It is terrific. And inexpensive.

Just got back from dinner. Had a Hendricks on ice. Man it was good! Think I'll go buy a bottle.
Dinner on the other hand was really nice but would have been better (and a lot cheaper) on the egg. Guess I have to be social every once in a while. -

walrusegger have been using for about a year and half. Like if very much and only 45 miles down the road...Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Just given a Mini to add to the herd.

My FAVE.Handmade in small batches,so I'm told, somewhere in Texas.Really good and NOT Xpensive.Better(considering price) than Goose or Kettle IMHO!!! ;)Been using it exclusively for a year or two.
