When looking at pictures of the grill extender it seems like it would be hard to flip food under the top grate. Do people have this trouble? Looking maybe into purchasing one. Thanks!

Are you referring to the BGE extender? If so the wings flip like this and the lower is easy to get to with a spatula or tongs.

you're welcome - the real secret is to make sure you hook the legs on your grate - in fact it springs it a bit. Some people have complained only to find out they were merely sitting the legs on the grill - then the extender collapsed!

For hard to flip items, like hamburgers depending on how they are made, I use a 2 saucers/plates. Remove, put on plate, cover with 2nd place, flip, then put back.
