...I'm an EggHead!! Truthfully after one week I could not be happier. Our EggFest was last weekend and the wait was killing me. Then the day showed up and we had a lot of fun, I cooked on my Egg
, the heat went up into the high 90's, and I was happy to go home! The wife got a few pics before the day got busy and very hot.
I made an Apricot glazed Pork Loin and this is after brining and getting a little rub...

...more rub...

...a little vegetable oil...

...and on the cooker.

That was fun and the loin was tasty.
After we rehydrated and rested the Egg was delivered. So Monday I got to cook on it home... even better. :woohoo:

I did really simple after work. Start with some roasted taters that the wife now calls "Egg" taters

Y'all know this thing can be steady on a temp!

This is a beautiful thing...

...and this is better. Simple burgers, sautéed mushrooms, bacon, and havarti cheese... delicious!

Since then I have made Tequila Lime Chicken and brats and roasted corn. Tonight... well... we will see what the market brings.
I love my Egg... this forum nailed it with every recommendation. Thanks for your help and more food porn to come. :P
