OT: Spatchcock is gone (Posted Reward)

Spatchcock my 3 or 4 day old feathered friend is missing. Mom built a nest in my garage and Spatchcock hatched. Have put back in nest 2 times as he falls out lots at his/her young age (never touched him as was told mom would not keep if we did).
But today Spatchcock is gone. Can a very small bird carry her young off?

Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Just given a Mini to add to the herd.

Don't know about spatchock, but when I was 8 years old had a doe rabbit who had 6-8 little ones in her cage in Albuquerque during the snowy winter and I thought it was a good idea to bring them into the laundry room for warmth. In 2 days they all disappeared and was told the mother ate them to protect them???
