Cooking a chubster is not an easy thing to do. What are you doing today? I've got three butts in at this time. I hope to pull them off by 5:pm. They are all close to 4 pounds. Rubbed with DrBBQ's recipe from his book and sweeten up a little. Tim

I've heard her muse something along the lines of "no matter how low the heat...or how long the cook...he just never seems to "tender up"!!

Kent, If you are referring to my Butts I got them on a reduced sale yesterday $.89 a pound. So I got three and they average a little over 3 pounds each. I plan to post this cook soon. I was screwing with Chubby. I hope you are doing OK today. Tim

Great price on the butts. We are at $2.98 /lb here.
Considering what went on I am doing ok, sure makes it tough to have any productivity though.
Put some training wheels on the monster outside for Cindy.

I see I have one butt at 195 degrees so, I'll be pulling it soon. Then we will have to keep an eye on the other two. I'll start a post on the butt cook when I pull the first butt off and get it in the cooler. They have been smoking since 9:am central time. Tim :P
