i think he did it when he broke in, my sock drawers were all organized and everything, looks like its time to move further north and change my name, there was even a jar of potpourri on the bathroom sinkfukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it
-
Oh Stikey, I love it when you whisper...."Gazpacho" in my ear when you're wearing your pink apron. Oh yeah baby.
-
didn't post that pic. max did. that was my nephew, by the way, behind me. apparently he was hiding because he had the foresight to know that max would have no problems posting our family's private pics on a public forum
seems a lot of folks take an interest in what i do.
nice to be thought about, i guess.
whether good or bad.
learned that from tweev -
did you notice the sachet of lavender in your tackle box? those hooks and lures were getting icky.
-
i have no shame. only two things: 1.) i don't kiss on the lips, and 2.) just leave the money on the nightstand and let the cat in while on yer way out.
-
Well, whoever posted it should be hung. It was copied emailed to about 400 forum members. (not from Mad Max but some anon). It's a very disturbing to see the patriarch of our forum in a photo like that. I'm trying to forget it. But it just won't go away. PLEASE don't ever take your shirt off in the presence of a camera. Thank you. That's all I have to say.
-
Okay, that does it!!
I'm not even asking about the Judy Garland posters... -
not looking for credit for the gazpacho, rather relating the story about the criticism.
-
If you ever want to get on his good side....he LOVES whipped cream. (Only miracle whip, the one with the real pointed tip.)
-
blame the pose and the fisheye lens....
as bad as i am, i'd wager i look better with my shirt of than the majority of folks posting here  -
Typo....sorry. It's "Reddi Whip". As is reddi when you're reddi.
-
Hanged, my dear, if speaking about a lady.
-
What are you talking about????? Thank god you had a fisheye leans and that pose. That was an enhancement to that picture. I can't imagine what it would be without it. I can't speak for any of the other gentleman on this forum. But maybe we should start a calendar....."The men of Big Green Egg". You could have December darling.
I think Tweeve tip should get Jan., sorry. -
Please don't post without pics. Now look what you've caused!!!!
-
Same to you!!
-
seems some of you are just unable to understand that i was saying "i will not bother to post pics..."
sheesh.
please crack a book once in a while. when words are strung carefully together, they actually convey specific meanings. your inability to understand what i say doesn't make ME the simpleton. -
hahahaha
that was pretty damn good. but i fear any literate asides generally fall flat.
'pearls before swine', and all that. (no offense to the swine) -
I for one, was very appreciative of your couscous.
And don't take to heart what those other guys said about gazpacho. I've never tried any of it myself, but yours sounds pretty good, and it certainly is no reflection on your masculinity or lack thereof. -
I think, therefore I am?
-
yer just saying that... anyone can read the hostility in your reply.... >>sniff
-
zackly. all perception exists in the space between your ears.
this world would not exist if you could not perceive it. -
Rod,
See what you've done now. He's upset! Probably be all day getting him out of "the mood"Steve

no worries, i can get back into the mood at the drop of a turkish robe.

I'm just jealous. I honestly had KFC for dinner last night - chicken, mashed taters, slaw.
It was awful. First time in probably 5 years I had food from there. Will be the last time for several years. Unfortunately it is about the only thing between our house and the gymnastics academy and the wife decided to stop and pick something up on her way home with the kids last night.
I wanted gazpacho and couscous. Stike's just rubbing salt in my wound. -
Do we have to watch gladiator movies?
-
KFC is a phenomenon. i eat it once every five or ten years too, as you said.
i will drive by a million times, then one day pull in, and buy a bucket.
i always feel sick and disgusted from it, and swear never to get it again.
kinda like working at the rest stop. -
Thanks for not posting pics Stike:laugh:
-
Ah, Poulet Frite du Kentucky an all time favourite. Can't beat the mascerated slaw

Great thread!! I read it in flat view and it was still great!
I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!
