Julie, it looks like you did a great job. Hope it's as tasty as it looks!
-
Wow! I can smell it  Are you at Little Stevens house? Looks like something he would make & the one of a kind counter top
-
It was really good Gene. Neil had seconds LOL
-
HA HA I was thinking of him when I decided what to make! I smell curry and he comes to mind... not a bad thing I guess..... and no not his kitchen... only three pans dirty that is how you can tell from what I hear

-
Did you use a braiser from Le Creuset to cook the veggies?
-
LOL good eye Shawn! yes the small one fits the med perfectly. I just melted the butter in there with the garlic and then tossed the rest in to just warm. wanted all the flavors to be more fresh than cooked.
-
Wow Julie...That looks totally fantastic!! :woohoo: Love the flavor combos you chose! Now I am going to have to make a batch of home made pasta...soon! It just can't be beat! :pinch:

He might have had thirds if you made more
-
Now Steven!! I only had three dirty dishes!!! I have heard about you and all your spices and they mess they make!!
this was very good but it did lack a little something.
the front taste was good and med heat but no "guts" to it if you know what I mean?? I almost gave you a shout but figured you were on your way home and did not want to bother you. plus I knew I would not have what ever you would have recommended LOL it was kind of a Italian/Indian blend. if just the Italian I would have tossed a little white wine in there to round out the flavors. but was not sure what to use with this. did not think it would fit.... any ideas?? -
I wish I could smell it Julie! If I close my eyes and try really hard .... nope didn't work. I'm sure it was awesome. Take Steve up on the spices, he knows his Indian food.

Way too much work for me
, but it sure looks great. Thanks for sharing. -
Bash, try it just once. really! this was just 1 3/4 reg flour and a dash of salt in the food processor. mixer works fine too. drop in two eggs one at a time and then add 1 1/2 tb of water. mix, take out and need a few times till it is not sticky and rest, wrapped in plastic wrap or a plastic bag about 30 minutes to hydrate well so it is soft to roll. I cut it into 4 small balls and rolled out very thin sprinkled 2 with some fresh tiny flat leaf parsley brush a tiny bit of water on one of the other rolled out pieces and lay on top of the parsley and roll again pretty thin. then you can do what every you like with it. I cut squares and filled. you can slice into ribbons as wide or skinny as you like. dry a little and then in to a pot of boiling water with a tad of EVO. it cooks quicker than boxed stuff. very hardy and good!

yum!!!!

Ravs look outstanding, Julie. Very pretty too with the parsley inside. Great presentation.Happily egging on my original large BGE since 1996... now the owner of 5 eggs. Call me crazy, everyone else does!

Beautiful - thanks for sharing Julie
-
Ohhh, that looks very tasty. Great job.
I admire your making fresh pasta for these as well, but for the folks that find that to be too much work, we sometimes cheat with fresh egg roll wrappers and seal them with a dab of egg white brushed around the edges.
It doesn't beat homemade pasta by any means, but it's pretty fast if making the pasta seems too complicated. -
HA HA I keep a pack of wontons in the freezer just for that. and they do work great.
-
