Lafitte's Landing at Bittersweet Plantation. I liked the old place at the foot of the Sunshine bridge as well. I remember when it burned down and he couldn't hold back the tears on a newscast.

Been to Bitterseet a few times. Normally a company function - twice we had a seven course meal with a different wine with each course. Chef John would describe each course and the wine. Then he would hold court at the end of the bar.

"W" - Swimps or bugs (mudbugs, crawdads, crawfish, crayfish -

) will be good too. I have had corn and shrimp bisque at restaurants. Won't break the bank like the crab.
